Ground meat with pita bread

Ground meat with pita bread

Serves/Yields: 2 kebabs

Season: All seasons

Greek: Kebabs

Taken from www.recipesource.com, slightly varied. This version of Kebab is not served in Greece. In Greece they serve “pita gyros” or “pita souvlaki”, which is pieces of pork or cubed pork with tomato, tzatziki and onion all folded with round pita. Some put fried potatoes as well. The picture shows the Greek version of kebab and not the version that the recipe describes.
