Directions
- Beat the butter until white.
- Add the yolks one by one and mix.
- Add the milk and soda and then gradually add the sugar and the flour. Beat the mixture well.
- Finally, beat the egg whites to make a meringue and add them into the mixture without beating them much together with the rest of the mixture.
- Bake in 180 C for 1 hour.
- Check regularly if the cake is ready.
- Remove from oven and coat the surface with icing sugar.

- 160 gr butter
- 640 gr sugar
- 640 gr milk, lukewarm
- 1280 gr flour
- 6 eggs, separated yolks from whites
- 2 tspns soda powder
- Icing sugar for coating
