Brownie muffins

Directions

  1. Follow the bain-marie process to melt the butter and the chocolate in one pot. Mix with the vanilla or the orange zest.
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes white.
  3. Add the flour, the crushed walnuts and the baking powder and mix.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate into the mixture and mix well.
  5. Empty the mixture into muffin tins and bake in 165 C (preheated oven temperature) for only 20 minutes.

Alternatively you can empty the mixture into a round baking tin. Do not cook for more than 20 minutes because the inner part or the brownie will become thick and it should not. It should be moist.

  • 210 grams fresh butter
  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 120 grams all purpose flour
  • 210 walnuts, finely crushed
  • 1 1/2 tspn baking powder
  • 1 tspn vanilla powder or zest of one orange
