Bechamel Sauce Recipe Demo

Bechamel is not a very easy recipe. You need to be careful with the exact portion of flour and milk and to stir constantly. This post demonstrates the process of preparing this rich sauce, which is widely used in many greek dishes. In this one we do not add the egg yolk in the end.

Step 1: Melt butter over a low heat.

Step 2: Add flour, salt, pepper. Stir until well blended.

Step 3: Gradually stir in milk…

Step 4: and blend.

Step 5: Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. Heat is preserved low (max 6 out 10 )

Step 6: Add nutmeg and remove from heat.
