Stuffed mussels


  1. Wash the mussels very well and rub them carefully . Put them in a saucepan with some water and boil them until they open.
  2. Prepare the stuffing: Cut the onion into very small pieces and cook it in a pan with some oil for two minutes. Add some salt, pepper, rice, the cones and stir for another 2 – 3 minutes.
  3. When the mixture  is ready (2 -3 minutes have passed) stuff the mussels.
  4. Then close them carefully put them in a saucepan with some water and some oil and cook them until the rice is ready.


  • large mussels as many as you want
  • 1 onion
  • salt – pepper
  • rice
  • cones or almonds
  • olive oil
