Smoked Herring Dip


  1. Mix herring fillets, soft cheese and oil in a blender.
  2. Add lemon juice and taste. Adjust with more lemon, if necessary.
  3. Fix texture by adding more oil from, if the mixture is thick or by adding more cheese if the mixture is soft.


  • 200 grams smoked herring fillets
  • 300 grams Philadelphia soft cheese
  • Lemon juice of one lemon (max)
  • 2 spoons olive oil
