Pumpkin Pie from Crete
Directions
- Brown the pumpkin and the onion and cook till mushy.
- Drain and add spearmint, grated feta and the eggs.
- Prepare the dough and roll it open.
- Spread half of it in a buttered baking pan, spread the mixture, and on the top the second half of the dough.
- Bake till golden.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 kg of pumpkin
- 2 onions
- Salt
- Pepper
- Spearmint
- 1 lb. of feta cheese
- 2 or 3 eggs
For the dough
Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup of oil
- 2 eggs
- Salt
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tspn baking powder
- As much flour as needed
