Fried fish roe balls

Directions

  1. Remove the bread crust from the bread slices.
  2. Soak the breadcrumbs into a bowl.
  3. Strain it.
  4. Mix well the fish roe, the onions and the bread until the mixture becomes thick.
  5. Let the mixture stand for a while in order to thicken more.
  6. Shape it into balls
  7. Coat in flour and fry.

Ingredients

  • 2 spoons of fine quality fish roe (white colored fish roe preferred)
  • 6 slices of white bread
  • Lemon juice
  • Some spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped in thin slices
  • Oil for frying
  • Flour for coating
