Fig jam


  1. Mash the figs, place them in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Then add gradually sugar and stir until the mixture binds and thickens. Finally add lemon juice.
  2. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool. Then place the jam (marmelade) in cleaned jars and preserve in the fridge.


  • 1 kg peeled figs
  • 1 glass of water
  • Lemon juice of one lemon
  • 500 grams sugar
