Fig jam
Directions
- Mash the figs, place them in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Then add gradually sugar and stir until the mixture binds and thickens. Finally add lemon juice.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool. Then place the jam (marmelade) in cleaned jars and preserve in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 1 kg peeled figs
- 1 glass of water
- Lemon juice of one lemon
- 500 grams sugar
