Chicken with lemon, baked in the oven
Directions
- Wash the chicken and dry.
- Put in roasting tray and squeeze lemon juice over the chicken and inside the cavity.
- Season with salt and pepper and oregano.
- Pour olive oil all over.
- Put in pre-heated oven (190c) and cook for 45 minutes. (Baste the chicken often).
- Place potatoes in roasting tray and cook for a further 45 minutes.
- Please note cooking time depends on the size of the chicken.
- Serve with greek salad.

- half a cup of olive oil
- 2/3 pinches of oregano
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 4/5 Potatoes cut in half
