Chick peas from Sifnos island

Directions

  1. Soak the chick peas for at least for 5 – 6 hours.
  2. Place them into a heat – proof crock – pot, season with salt and pour olive oil.
  3. Cover and bake them for hours in 250 C.
  4. Serve with lemon juice.

  • 1 kg chick peas
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 spoon salt
  • 2 cups olive oil
  • Lemon juice
