Square noodles from Metsovo

Directions

  1. Boil plenty of water in a large saucepan. Add salt. Add the square noodles and boil until cooked.
  2. Remove from saucepan and drain.
  3. Melt the butter and return the noodles in the saucepan. Mix well the butter with the noodles.
  4. Serve with tomato sauce and grated cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg square noodles
  • 1 teacup grated kefalotyri
  • Include ingredients required for the tomato sauce recipe
    for ingredients
  • 1 teacup butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
