Lima Beans

Directions

  1. Let the beans soak in water for at least 12 hours. If you do not soak them they will not soften easily.
  2. Boil them as long as they need to soften.
  3. Place the beans in a pan.
  4. Mash the tomatoes and spread the mash in the pan.
  5. Mash the garlic with a mortar or with a fork.
  6. Add salt, pepper, olive oil, mashed garlic and the parsley.
  7. Bake the lima beans for 45 minutes in medium temperature.

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • olive oil
  • parsley
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Optionally: carrots
