Green Beans with Tomatoes and Feta Cheese

Directions

  1. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil for a minute. Be careful not to burn them.
  2. Add tomatoes, olives and oregano and simmer for about 5-8 minutes.
  3. Add green beans and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Just before serving sprinkle feta cheese on top.

These are delicious hot or cold.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 1 28 oz. can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can sliced black olive
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 10 oz. boxes frozen French style green
  • beans, thawed and drained
  • 4 to 6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
