Green Beans with Tomatoes and Feta Cheese
Directions
- Saute onion and garlic in olive oil for a minute. Be careful not to burn them.
- Add tomatoes, olives and oregano and simmer for about 5-8 minutes.
- Add green beans and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Just before serving sprinkle feta cheese on top.
These are delicious hot or cold.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup onions, diced
- 1 28 oz. can chopped tomatoes
- 1 can sliced black olive
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 2 10 oz. boxes frozen French style green
- beans, thawed and drained
- 4 to 6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
