Apple pie

Directions

  1. Preserve the apple pieces in a bowl of water in order not to become brown.
  2. Use a round baking pan and melt the butter in it.
  3. Mix with the beaten eggs and then add gradually the flour, the sugar and the vanilla.
  4. Mould the mixture well with your hands. It should not be tight but rather elastic and sticky in your hands.
  5. Then add the apples, the nuts, the raisins and some drops of brandy.
  6. Mix well again using your hands (there is no need for a mixer).
  7. Preheat the oven in 180 C and bake for 30 – 40 minutes, depending on the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of butter (250 grams)
  • 2 glasses self raising flour
  • 1,5 glass sugar
  • 100 grams grounded nuts
  • Some golden raisins
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 red apples, peeled and cut in pieces
  • Drops of brandy
  • 1 spoon vanilla powder
