Directions
- Preserve the apple pieces in a bowl of water in order not to become brown.
- Use a round baking pan and melt the butter in it.
- Mix with the beaten eggs and then add gradually the flour, the sugar and the vanilla.
- Mould the mixture well with your hands. It should not be tight but rather elastic and sticky in your hands.
- Then add the apples, the nuts, the raisins and some drops of brandy.
- Mix well again using your hands (there is no need for a mixer).
- Preheat the oven in 180 C and bake for 30 – 40 minutes, depending on the oven.
Ingredients
- 1 packet of butter (250 grams)
- 2 glasses self raising flour
- 1,5 glass sugar
- 100 grams grounded nuts
- Some golden raisins
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 4 red apples, peeled and cut in pieces
- Drops of brandy
- 1 spoon vanilla powder
