Broccoli with butter sauce

Directions

  1. Boil the broccoli in plenty of salted water for 10 – 12 minutes.

Sauce preparation

  1. In a saucepan melt the butter in low temperature.
  2. Add the flour and stir well using a wooden spoon.
  3. Gradually add the milk and continue stirring. The sauce should become thick and smooth.
  4. Finally add the lemon drops and the salt and let simmer for 5 more minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and pour over the broccoli.

  • 1 kg broccoli
  • 150 gr fresh butter
  • 160 fresh milk
  • 20 gr flour
  • 5 drops lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
