Boiled green vegetables
Wild greens are called “Horta” in Greece. They can be found with sweet taste (vlita, antidia, zochi) or bitter taste (radikia, xorta tou vounou). It is very common to eat wild green vegetables (Horta) in Greece. Since they are now days cultivated they can be found all year round. 
Directions
- Chop the roots of the green vegetables and wash them well. They need careful washing in order to remove soil and dust.
- Boil them in a saucepan for around 30 minutes and serve them hot or cold with olive oil, salt and lemon juice.
In some varieties vinegar goes better than lemon juice.
