Lentils with orzo
Directions
- Bring the lentils to the boil and waste their water. Rinse them.
- Bring them to boil again and add olive oil, tomato juice and slices, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
- Boil them in the pressure cooker for 4 minutes.
- Remove from the saucepan and put them in a baking pan together with their juice. Mix them with the orzo. Throw away the bay leaf.
- Bake for 40 minutes in preheated oven (180 C) until juice is absorbed. If necessary add more water. Taste and fix with salt and pepper, if necessary.
- Remove from the oven, let the mixture cool a bit and then serve.

- 200 grams lentils
- 250 grams orzo
- 1 mashed tomato
- 1 tomato, thinly cut
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
