Mushroom Balls


  1. Wash the mushrooms and cut them in small pieces (use a blender if you have one).
  2. Salt them and let them dry.
  3. Soak the bread.
  4. Chop the onions and mix them with the mushrooms, the bread, the eggs the salt, the pepper, the cumin and the oregano.
  5. Stir the mixture well.
  6. Shape the mixture into small balls.
  7. Coat them with flour and fry them in olive oil.
  8. Serve warm.


  • 15 big fresh mushrooms
  • 2 small onions
  • 6 slices of stale bread
  • 3 eggs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cumin
  • oregano
  • some flour for coating
  • olive oil for frying
